At Jamison Farm we are a lamb feeding operation and we also run a thousand head of ewes. In addition to sheep, cattle, goats hogs and ducks are also kept and used for the training program. This allows us to offer many types of challanges as dogs progress. We use Border Collies every day for moving stock, sorting, gathering, and checking.

We understand the importance of a well bred, tough stockdog that can meet any challenge, on any livestock. At the same time, our dogs must be trainable and also be able to read stock for themselves.

Who doesn’t want their stock moved in a calm, confident manner? Calm stock are more productive and more predictable. We all know how difficult it can be to keep reliable ranch help that is willing to work your way. A well bred stockdog can easily take the place of several ranch hands with lower cost to you. Border Collies come preprogrammed with cow sense and your Border Collie never asks for or wants a day off!
